Focused through Holidays


Attention attention! Holidays are supposed to be a fun time for friends and families. They are NOT an excuse. Sure there may be some stress that accompanies the fun, but do not let yourself be like so many people who use “well it’s the holidays” as a way to skip workouts and eat junk. Two weeks of bad habits will make your efforts in January much more difficult. Instead of putting things off, use your workouts as an outlet for your stress. Got a mother or mother in law driving you crazy? Use it as fuel for your cardio. Have a father or brother being unnecessarily difficult? Use that as energy to get your last few reps in. Anything that seems to get you upset can be turned into workout fuel. When something happens during the day, save it for later and unleash it for a great workout. Omelet in a Mug


Here is a quick and easy way to whip up a healthy and good omelet. This can be done on the weekend or even during busy weekday mornings. For anyone on a weight away meal plan with egg white omelet as an option, feel free to give it a shot!


1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

2 tbsp chopped onion

3 egg whites


Spray a large microwave safe mug with nonstick spray. Add green pepper and onion. Microwave until softened (about 1-2 minutes). Blot any excess liquid from vegetables. Add mixed up egg whites and microwave for 1 minute. Stir and microwave again until eggs are done.
